In Fusion Cloud the only door to the data model is BI Publisher, so every ad-hoc question becomes a browser round-trip. FuiSQL turns that door into a real developer tool.

Questions we get asked

Which Oracle products does FuiSQL work with?
Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications — ERP Financials, HCM, PPM and Procurement — plus any other table your BI Publisher account can query on the same pod. The bundled schema dictionary covers Financials/common, HCM, PPM and Procurement for IntelliSense.
What do I need on the Oracle side?
A Fusion user that can run BI Publisher reports, and a one-time upload of the bundled FuiSQL.catalog report into your BI Catalog (Shared Folders/Custom for the whole team, or My Folder for private use). Uploading needs the BI Administrator or BI Author role. Run FuiSQL: Download Report Catalog from the VS Code command palette to get the file.
Can FuiSQL change data in Fusion?
Queries execute as a BI Publisher SQL data set under your own BI account, so they carry exactly the privileges your Fusion user already has — FuiSQL grants nothing extra and has no write path of its own.
Where do my credentials and results go?
Credentials are sent only to your Fusion host and stored only in VS Code's encrypted Secret Storage. Results, history and exports stay on your machine. The only thing FuiSQL's servers ever handle is a license claim or purchase.
What exactly is free?
Everything. Without a key, results and exports are capped at 10 rows per query — IntelliSense, formatting, history, Data Flow and connections all work. A free 3-month trial key lifts the cap; paid plans lift it for the term you choose.
How does licensing work?
A key is issued for the Machine ID shown in the FuiSQL sidebar (License section). It's cryptographically signed and verified inside the extension, so activation needs no internet and nothing phones home. Paste it into the sidebar and click Activate; Remove license deactivates it. Paid plans carry a 30-day refund policy.
Does the extension need internet?
Only to reach your Fusion pod (where the SQL actually runs) and, on first load, to fetch the schema dictionary — which is then cached locally. License verification is offline. Turn off fuisql.enableSchemaIntelliSense to skip all schema fetching if you're locked down.
